On Tuesday night, Pitt extended an offer to a forward in the 2024 class out of Senegal.
Amdy Ndiaye, a 6-foot-10, 210-pound forward, plays for Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, Connecticut. Last year, he played for NIBC powerhouse Long Island Lutheran, shooting over 35% from three-point range, per his coach. Ndiaye picked up the offer from the Panthers’ staff late Tuesday, marking his first high-major offer.
In addition to Pitt, he holds an offer from Eastern Michigan, and has taken visits to Rutgers (unofficial) and St. Bonaventure (official).
Pitt has now offered three uncommitted forwards in 2024 by PSN’s count: Ndiaye, Raleigh Burgess (OH), and James Moore (NJ). The Panthers currently have one verbal commitment in the class of 2024 with Brandin Cummings locked in to Pitt.
